Sheet Metal Worker
Structural work is where maintenance gets physical: repairs, modifications and conversions all depend on skilled sheet metal workers. Avianeer places structures specialists on base maintenance and modification projects across Europe, the UK and the Gulf region.
Typical roles we fill
- Base maintenance structures teams (C- and D-checks)
- Structural damage repair — dents, cracks, corrosion rework
- SRM-based repairs and repair design embodiment
- STC modification and P2F conversion programmes
- Component and sub-assembly manufacturing support
What our clients typically require
- Proven aircraft structures experience in a Part-145 or production environment
- Ability to work from SRM, EO and drawing packages independently
- Solid riveting, drilling, forming and fastener installation skills
- Experience with common airframe materials; composite repair skills a plus
- Fluent English; EU/UK work eligibility or willingness to relocate
Contract types
Project contracts (typically 3–12 months), temp-to-perm, and direct permanent placements. Rates depend on qualifications, experience and location — we’re transparent about this from the first call.
