B2 Licensed Engineer
B2 licensed engineers certify the avionics and electrical systems that modern aircraft depend on — from autoflight and navigation to communication and instrument systems. Avianeer places B2 engineers with Part-145 organisations across Europe, the UK and the Gulf region.
Typical roles we fill
- Line maintenance avionics certifying staff (CRS authorisation)
- Base maintenance avionics teams on heavy checks
- Avionics upgrade and retrofit programmes (connectivity, ADS-B, FANS, NAV database systems)
- Complex troubleshooting and defect rectification specialists
- Lead avionics positions in Part-145 environments
What our clients typically require
- EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B2 licence
- Type ratings on current commercial types (A320 family, A330, B737, B777, B787 most requested)
- Recent Part-145 experience with strong troubleshooting record
- EWIS, FTS and human factors training up to date
- Fluent English; EU/UK work eligibility or willingness to relocate
Contract types
Project contracts (typically 3–12 months), temp-to-perm, and direct permanent placements. Rates depend on qualifications, experience and location — we’re transparent about this from the first call.
